Democracy and capitalism
Democracy and capitalism, both terms have been used so often not only in technical languages like academia, politics, law and economics but also in our everyday communication that a wide variety of meanings have arisen which have contributed to our (mis)understanding of these terms. The present author does not claim to have a perfect (or even professional) knowledge of these terms, but I have noticed some glaring contradictions in our political systems throughout the world. Here are some of them:
Thoroughly widespread in the modern world, yet so many loopholes in the system, some of which are inevitable, others of which represent the flaws in the current political systems. Many rallies for political, human and civil rights in the world, many of which common similarities despite different cultural and historical background, which perhaps implies that there is a common thread between them.
