After a series of painstakingly organised mass protests and marches in all major cities throughout the world for calls to protect science education and research from research industries down to primary school education, we must give thanks and congratulations to all organisers and participants of March for Science 2018 all around the world. The fight is by no means over (in fact, it seems to get tougher by the minute), but tonight we can all rest assured of the fact that we have given our all and best in fighting for what we believe is right for the world. Nothing warms our hearts more than this reassurance. May we all rest and recuperate, and let’s continue our fight against injustice in academia and research.
